Day 37 of Da Ride

It was time for another century today! The team rode from Paradise Valley Campground to the Super8 Motel in Tillsonburg. We encountered some fast moving dark clouds to start the day and took our time for breakfast to let the storm simply roll through. It is interesting to see Canadian flags, different road signs, and the speed limit in kilometers per hour. Thankfully, the car has both English and metric scales so there is no conversion needed. Most stores in this area generally take American money so we did not have to get any currency exchanged. The area is generally farm country with various types of crops and we saw our usual share of horses and cattle mixed in with some sheep today. It was a worldwind tour as the team made its way through London and St. Thomas. Captain Eugenia hit the jackpot at lunch as we found Subway, Starbucks, and a shopping mall adjacent to each other. Harry even got some socks to match his 2003 Bike New York cycling jersey. We were blessed with favorable wind out of the northwest for most of the day. It is time to do laundry and sleep on a comfortable mattress. It is surely something to be grateful for that we tend to forget!
